When doing a kokyunage throw it is very important to be stable at the moment of the throw.
If you need to correct your posture and basic positions after or during the throw, the throw itself will be powerless. Uke (the attacker) will only be thrown if he wants to throw himself. However, if you can execute the cut and the throw from a stable position then there is no question whether the attacker will fly or not (he has to fly to avoid awkward and dangerous positions, see Self Defence Part 1).
The above point is very worthwhile to pay attention to. Make sure your feet are positioned well at the time of entering so no corrections will be needed later. Two birds with one stone: the throw will be more powerful and you will also become more stable.
See two sample throws from 1' 10 to 1' 18 sec (I know this were not the best throws, but I have practiced that a lot since that demo :)
