How to put on your hakama
Posted September 14th, 2008 by ConnorI know that how to put on the hakama is usually not the concern of beginners. However, there are aikido organisations where all the beginners, or beginner women only, can wear hakama so the following video might be of interest to them.
In the following video I show the way I put on my hakama. The video demonstrates one possible way to put on your hakama. There exist several other methods as well. The following is a way that works for me and that I've been using since I can wear hakama. It has never fallen off me with tying it up like this.
How to fold a gi properly (take two)

Since I don't want to fix it every time Flickr makes some changes that causes an order change in my embedded slide show I decided to import the pictures and gi folding description here.
